Dr. Nathaniel Jue is a dedicated veterinarian with a passion for both small animal medicine and reproductive health. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a rotating internship in Florida. He then completed a comparative theriogenology residency at the Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, where he deepened his expertise in animal reproduction.
After practicing in California for several years, Dr. Jue relocated to San Antonio in 2018, where he has continued his work as a small animal general practitioner with a special focus on theriogenology. While he enjoys all aspects of veterinary care, he has a special interest in canine reproduction and is always excited to help clients navigate breeding, fertility, and neonatal care.
Dr. Jue is thrilled to be joining the team at the Animal Hospital of Smithson Valley and looks forward to working with the dedicated breeders of the San Antonio area.
Outside of work, Dr. Jue spends most of his free time with his two dogs (Megara and Icarus), two cats (Reinhardt and Yuumi), and keeping up with his three kids.
