dr.roy-madigan
Dr. Roy Madigan, DVM

Dr. Madigan is a 2001 graduate of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He’s been serving the Spring Branch/Bulverde community for over 9 years now; focusing on small animal companion animals, specifically allergic skin diseases and reproduction. He spends some time each year pursuing his love for marine mammals in various locations around the world. Currently, he is working internationally on a canine and human treatment for chronic Chagas disease. Dr. Madigan loves to scuba dive, cook, and stay active with running.

Dr. Jana Grant, DVM

Dr. Jana Grant grew up in Northern Virginia and Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology and anthropology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, she made a big move to California to attend veterinary school at the Western University of Health Sciences. She graduated in 2009 and moved to Sacramento, California to complete a small animal internship at Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. She enjoys internal medicine cases, radiology, animal behavior, and dermatology. After working in a small animal practice in Elk Grove, California for seven years, she elected to make another big move to Texas to be closer to friends. Dr. Grant practiced at a hospital in San Antonio for several years, before moving to Bulverde, and is excited to set down roots in her new hometown. She wants to make visiting the veterinarian an enjoyable experience for people as well as pets. She hopes to build lasting relationships with her clients and teach them how to best care for their furry family members. Dr. Grant has 2 young kids, Kayla and Kai. She also has two dogs, two cats, a tortoise, and fish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, eating at local restaurants, gardening, and being outdoors as much as possible.

Dr. Shannon Puype, DVM

Dr. Puype attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX where she completed her undergraduate degree. She continued her studies and graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 and moved to Shiner, TX to start her career in rural mixed animal medicine. After three years of practice in Shiner, she has moved back to Spring Branch where she grew up. Dr. Puype will continue to practice mixed animal medicine and will be introducing large animal services to the practice. She enjoys small animal surgery and all aspects of large animal medicine. In her off time she loves traveling, being outdoors and on the water, and spending time with friends and family.
